Paramount Pictures gets rid of Tom Cruise.

Viacom Inc.’s Paramount Pictures unit is ending its 14-year relationship with Tom Cruise’s film production company because of the actor’s offscreen behavior, the company’s chairman said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
Sumner Redstone, Viacom chairman, said the behavior of the star of the “Mission: Impossible” series and “Top Gun” was unacceptable to the company, according to the Wall Street Journal story e-mailed to reporters.
Cruise, one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, has been known more recently for his antics on U.S. television talk shows, including jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey’s couch to declare his love for Katie Holmes and criticizing the use of antidepressant drugs.
“As much as we like him personally, we thought it was wrong to renew his deal,” Redstone was quoted as saying in the Wall Street Journal. “His recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount.”. . . . . . . .Source

I think his public comments about Brooke Shields was uncalled for, it was none of his business.He’d never had a baby or suffered from the baby blues. I think Paramont did the right thing, since I would never attend (free) or paying to see one of his movies again.

He’s turned into an opinionated sphincter muscle and if you don’t agree with HIM you aren’t worth his time. I used to like him—not any more and his behavior — well if Katie wasn’t allowed to make any noise when she was delivering the baby, then he should not be able to act like a horse’s sphinter muscle and scream all over Oprah’s sofa. Tom, you try pushing a person through your who ha after carrying it for 9 months and then tell us there is no such thing as post partum depression. Come back to the real world Tom or just go away.

I think Mr. Cruise has had too many shock treatment therapies ..from that Scientologist cult he belongs to. The man is absolutely losing it! Maybe he should try some anti-depressants himself… He’s a poster child for bi-polar disorder! Forget the pre-nup, post-nup or marriage settlement, if I were Katie’s parent’s… I would get her AND the grandchild as far away from him as possible! Forget the money!

What TOM needs MOST is a clear, realistic, unadulturated view of the world and unfortunately, the Church of Scientology offers just the opposite. It claims our human spirits came from outer space aliens who were murdered millions of years ago (Spooky!). TOM is not insane — he just needs to get OUT of Scientology and discover God, others, himself and real life. TOM is totally hypnotized by this cult because his father abandoned him when he was a little boy, and now he is attracted to Scientology’s rigid and strict rules and policies — to fill in for his absent father. TOM has given this money-grabbing cult millions of dollars and sadly, all he is ever going to get back is a tainted reputation for being a follower. PS: Apparently, TOM has ADHD, or at least ADD, (easily distracted) which would explain why his conversation rambles nearly to the point of being incoheren!
