Emma Watson may not come back to the next “Harry Potter” movie.

“Harry Potter” might lose one of its stars. The fifth film in the series, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” is currently filming at Leavesden Studios north of London. Negotiations to lock in Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) for the final two films are in the preliminary stages, and while the boys are likely to commit, Watson, 16, is unsure. “I don’t know yet,” she told NEWSWEEK near the set of 12 Grimmauld Place, secret headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. “Every film is such a huge production, and it’s a long time.” Saying yes would mean she’d be playing the studious Hermione until she’s 20. Watson scored near- perfect grades on her national exams. College must be on her mind, not to mention a career, and she’s not sure acting is in the cards. “Daniel and Rupert seem so sure,” she says, and looks sincerely plagued that she isn’t. “I love to perform, but there are so many things I love doing.” Pause. “Maybe that sounds ungrateful. I think Emma should come back the movies wont be the same with out her i may even not watch the next movie then….. it just wont be the sam this late in the series! i almost stoped when the orignal Dumbledor died!!! but i had to see the movie but this late in the series you get a new Hermione Grander NO WAY!!! it will be to diffrent i hope Emma Watson comes back!!!

Being a complete HP nutter books and movies, it will be sad and some what strange to see someone else in the role, however and this is a HUGE HOWEVER, i can understand why she may not come back. I’ve read in various interviews that she wishes to try new things, she films almost 11 months out of the year, it’s tough being so far from home and family.

I think she should do the other Harry Potter movie’s because it wont be the same without her…. it would be totally different without her!!! I think it would sort of ruin it in a way! Despite reports saying Watson refused to sign a contract to appear in the final two Potter installments, her committment to the final two films was confirmed in late March 2007 by Warner Brothers. I am excited and honoured to be finishing what I started and playing her in all seven of the films.”[5] (Daniel Radcliffe’s involvement in the last two films had been confirmed earlier that month. Just to comment on the person (Emma) who said such mean things about Emma Watson just because her name is the same. How ridiculous of you!! My 10 year old daughter’s name is Emma (last name even starts with a “W”), and she is quite proud that her name is the same, and last name is quite similar as well. Her friends, who are all big HP fans, also thing it is ‘cool’ that her name is so close to Emma Watson’s name.
How silly this is, and I can’t believe I’m responding, just for some reason, I thought I would mention that it is a silly and unproductive thing to gripe about. If you are soooooooooo disgusted that your name is Emma as well, please do one of three things: First, take into account HOW MANY Emma’s there are, all over the world who are not posting such stupid things, being so rude to an actress because their first name is the same, and SECOND, and most importantly, if you have SUCH a problem with it, DON’T read the books OR see the movies, last, you could change your own friggin name!!! Maybe that will help you with your anger issues, which obviously DO need some help. Just some advice from the ‘older generation, mother of two, one of which is named Emma, a big HP fan who reads the books and sees the movies, and she is PROUD to have the same name as Emma Watson (even likes that her last name starts with a W as well).
My gosh, what a silly post that was, and by the way, had NOTHING to do with the subject at hand. As for our family, we hope, hope, hope, that Emma Watson decides to do the last two movies. I personally think she will. She’s having second thoughts right now, probably because it is at the time to commit phase, and she’s considering her options. When all is said and done, I think she will stick it out, and will be there to finish the series(:

It just wouldn’t be the same without Emma watson playing as hermionie , every time that I think about the harry potter movies and even every time i read the books i think of hermionie granger and i think of her it would just be so different without her and also if i had that offer i would take it in a secound but i also agree with her idea of going back to school . Oh and in the seventh movie everything ends but she also gets to actually gets to kiss Rupert Grint (he is so cute ). Also i would kill to be in atleast one of the last two movies or even both with her , Rupert , and Daniel sense i saw the very first movie of harry potter and just to say it is not just Daniel who makes the movie it is Rupert and Emma to they are all my ISDOLES.
