Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead showed up this morning at the Broward County Circuit Court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Anna’s mother Vergie Arthur and father Don Hogan also arrived. Howard didn’t have to show up they said. This isn’t a criminal case. But if he came, he would be subjecting himself to be subpoenaed to DNA testing in the paternity case for his daughter Dannie Lynn Hope. But if he didn’t show up, they said he would risk losing Anna’s body to her mother Vergie Arthur who wants to drag her body back to Texas rather than in the Bahamas next to Anna’s son Daniel. And by staying in the Bahamas, he is legally Dannie Lynn’s father and the paternity case would take years in the Bahamas. I think he should have stayed in the Bahamas.
TMZ is now reporting that Judge Seidlin just asked Howard K. Stern to write Dannie Lynn’s name on an easel under the word “daughter,” the reason for which was not entirely clear. Stern took a marker, strode across the room somberly, and wrote the name on a sheet of white paper on the easel.
“Why are we spending so much time here?” asked the judge. “We’re here to save one child.”
Did the judge tell Larry Birkhead to do this too? Why just Howard? This judge is turning this into a joke. You can watch a live feed of the trial from Miami affiliate WTVJ.

Anna Nicole is finally home in heaven with her beloved son Daniel Wayne Smith, Ana wanted to go home with her son, she unintentionally died. God wanted her with Daniel Wayne Smith her Angel. Please, Please let Anna Nicole Smith rest in peace like she wanted it. Now they are both in heaven the least that anyone can do out of respect for Ana & Daniel is to please let Anna rest next to her beloved son Daniel Wayne Smith.
This was a little poem I had emailed Anna Nicole Smith when her beloved Son Daniel Wayne Smith had passed away September 2006.
If tears can build a stairway, and memories build a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken, No time to say “Goodbye”. You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to love you – No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me to mourn for you no more; to remember all the happy times, life still has much in store.
Since you’ll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today- A hollowed place within my heart is where you’ll always stay.
May God keep Daniel Wayne Smith and his Mother Anna Nicole Smith safe in his keep.
We will truly miss you both, but now we know you are both at peace at last……….

For God’s sake-please let this woman rest in peace! Her mother should not have a say in where Anna is to be buried! If she knew her daughter at all-she would know that Anna would want to be buried with her son-and if she was capable of loving anyone other than herself-she would do the right thing and back down from this issue! There must be alot of money in it for Anna’s mother to have her buried in Texas-why else would she fight like this? She has already proved that all she cares about is what is in it for her! This woman needs to GO AWAY!
